The Patient Information Point provides information to anyone who wants to find out more about illnesses or where they can get support.

Information can help you to understand what choices you have. Understanding these choices allows you to manage your own health as well as helping you make plans about the future.

Having access to choices can help you to manage ill-health or restore good health, giving you a sense of control in your life.

The Patient Information Point is based at West Berkshire Community Hospital opposite reception. It offers a quiet room where you can research information at your leisure.

What kind of information does it hold?
The Patient Information Point is maintained an updated by trained volunteers.They will help you find reliable information or give you leaflets or other information. The volunteers can suggest other local or national agencies for further advice and support if needed. The room holds:
