Berkshire West Integrated Care System (ICS)

The Berkshire West Integrated Care System (ICS) includes Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the acute Royal Berkshire Hospital and Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trusts, and providers of GP services in four locality or neighbourhood ‘alliances’. The system covers a registered population of approximately 528,000 residents in Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham.

More people need care across a number of different settings - hospitals, GPs, clinics, nursing homes and in their own homes. An integrated approach means we are working together to make practical improvements to patient care, such as making it easier to see a doctor, speeding up cancer diagnosis and offering faster help to people with mental ill heath.

The Berkshire West ICS is committed to ensuring local people have the chance to help shape new services and provide feedback for how we can improve the health and care system in Berkshire West.

They produce a regular e-newsletter which highlights the latest projects across Berkshire West ICS. Please sign up here
