Patient and Participation Groups (PPGs)
Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) are based at most GP practices and meet on a regular basis to discuss the services on offer and how improvements can be made.
The PPG represents the views of patients to the practice's doctors and their colleagues. Patient groups consider things such as the quality of care, appointments, and opening times and work with practices to make improvements.
If you would like to become a member of your practice's patient group, please contact the practice manager at your surgery - s/he will explain how you can become involved.
