Community Respiratory Team

The Community Respiratory Team is a group of specialist nurses and physiotherapists dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

The nurses provide a domiciliary service at two levels - an urgent service aiming to avoid hospital admission, and a routine service within five working days.

The physiotherapists run the pulmonary rehabilitation service at different locations in Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire. This is for motivated, suitable people whose MRC score is 3 or more.

The team also provide the home oxygen review service.

More details can be found here on Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust's website.
